'Expensive' day off
MC yet again. Health's failing me these past 10 days. Finally recovered (hopefully), after a jab at the doc's yesterday...
The doc must have been pretty surprised to see me twice in less than a week. He gladly oblidged to my request for an injection. "I'll give you stronger anti-biotics this time round". Waited forever for the horribly inefficient clinic assistants for my medicine. Then came the shocker... medical fees: $50. Twice my previous visit's. "Damn... must be the jab." Well, apparently not, as I read the receipt more carefully: Consultation Fees, Injection, Medicine... and what's that... Expensive Antibiotic! Wahaha... can't decide whether to burst out laughing or crying! There's actually a justification for the expected reaction to the $50 charge! Amazing!
Although the fifty was hefty, I guess it was worth it, since I recovered almost immediately. And it gave me something interesting to post here, heh.

I made an appointment to see a dentist for polishing and scaling. On the due date, that dentist was away. So thinking that it is a normal straight forward job, the next dentist who attended to me was a specialist. Imagine my surprise when I was billed $60 instead of the usual $32 for a specialist instead of a regular dentist.

Wah anon, they should charge you the same since they didn't inform you in the first place that the original dentist isn't going to be around right? =\
What?! The Doc seriously put EXPENSIVE antibiotic in your bill?!?! WTF?!aiyah .... at least you got well fast ... $50 with a jab considered cheap nowadays.
