Heart-break
Another bout of insomnia struck me last nite, which presented me the misfortune of watching my beloved red devils get whacked by the blue boys, in their own "fortress", no less.
Sad enough that my team had to form a "guard of honour" (they lined up and applauded as the blues trooped onto the pitch) to welcome the newly crowned champions... they had to go on to prove that inferiority in that horrible 90 minutes. The defending was shambolic, the attack was impotent after the 1st goal... speaking of which, I thought that at least the devils can beat the champs once this season after the RVN goal in the 8th minute.
Hope this nonsense isn't repeated in the FA Cup final... the last thing I want to witness in a horrendous season is a loss to the Gooners. Yes yes, I hear your taunts, you anti-MU fans. Enjoy the gloating... while it lasts. Sad to admit it this time... I don't see when the rot will stop.
